Im Moment beherrscht ein Thema die Medien, die Menschen, die Arbeitswelt. Es sind keine schönen Zeiten, die uns nun bevorstehen. Aber da müssen wir uns jetzt durchkämpfen, durchhalten. Und das werden wir. Nepal hat alle Grenzen geschlossen, am Flughafen werden nur noch Nepalesen in das Land gelassen, die dann sofort in Karantäne müssen. Ein Ausbruch wäre in Nepal eine Katastrophe. Ihr medizinisches System ist gleich null. Gut, dass die Regierung alles abgeriegelt hat.
Nun zu den guten News. In Chheskam hat der Bau der Schul-Bibliothek begonnen. Das meiste Material ist im Dorf angekommen. Und da die Schule im Moment sowieso geschlossen ist, wird mit dem Bau bald begonnen. Und weil die Trekkingsaison dieses Jahr ausfällt, sind sehr viele froh nun Arbeit zu haben. So können sie weiterhin ihre Familien ernähren. Die Ärmsten trifft es immer am meisten. Darum ist es uns wichtig so viele Einwohner wie möglich zu beschäftigen.
Ich wollte euch eigentlich Fotos von den ersten Bauphasen schicken. Doch die Qualität der Fotos ist leider zu schlecht, um es Online zu stellen. Bald wird Pasang nach Chheskam reisen und wird mir dann Bilder schicken.
Das soweit zu unserem Stand in Nepal. Wir wünschen euch in dieser Zeit viel Kraft und Durchhaltevermögen und vorallen viel Gesundheit!

At the moment, one topic thema are in the media, people and the world of work. It is not a good time to face us now. But we have to fight our way through now. And we will. Nepal has closed all
borders, at the airport only Nepalese are admitted to the country who then have to go into carantaine immediately. An outbreak would be a disaster in Nepal. The medical system is zero. It's a
good thing the government has sealed everything off.
Now for the good news. Construction of the school library has started in Chheskam. Most of the material has arrived in the village. And since the school is closed anyway, construction will begin
soon. And because the trekking season is canceled this year, many are happy to have a job. So they can continue to feed their families. It always hits the poorest the most. That is why it is
important to us to employ as many residents as possible.
I actually wanted to send you photos of the first construction phases. But the quality of the photos is unfortunately too bad to put it online. Soon Pasang will travel to Chheskam and will send
me pictures.
