Es wird Zeit nach Hause zu gehen. Obwohl Nepal für mich bereits ein zu Hause geworden ist. Aber das zu Hause ist auch dort, wo sich deine Familie befindet. Also wird es Zeit "ciao" zu sagen. Ich habe meine Zeit hier sehr genossen. Sicher auch aus diesem Grund, da ich zwei lange Jahre nicht hier war. Dann geniesst man die Zeit noch mehr, oder nicht? In dem einen Monat wo ich jetzt hier bin, habe ich wirklich viel machen können. Und das wichtigste überhaupt ich konnte unser Dorf Chheskam besuchen. Ich war so erstaunt, wie sich alles in den zwei Jahren positiv verändert hat. Fast hätte ich die Schule nicht wieder erkannt. Ich bin sehr stolz auf das, was wir bislang erreichen konnten. Natürlich auch dank euch liebe Unterstützer. Die Leute sind mir in den Jahren sehr ans Herz gewachsen. So unterschiedliche Leben wir doch haben, sind wir uns doch so nahe. Ich freue mich bereits auf den nächsten Besuch. Natürlich hoffe ich, dass es nicht wieder zwei Jahre dauern wird.....
Leider habe ich den Schlussbericht der Ingenieure noch nicht erhalten. Es wird doch noch etwas länger dauern als erwartet. Der Bericht ist das eine, die Sponsorensuche das andere.
In den paar Tagen die ich nun in Kathmandu war, habe ich noch vieles erledigen können. Wir sind dabei für Samu ein neues Rickshaw zu besorgen. Sein jetziges ist wirklich in die Jahre gekommen. Ich habe heute mit ihm eine Fahrt gemacht. Ich bin ja wirklich nicht schwer, aber mit dem alten Fahrrad hatte er wirklich mühe zu fahren. Ich hoffe, dass wir bald das richtige für ihn finden. Ich werde euch auf dem laufenden halten. Pasang hat einige Kontakte geknüpft und wird mich bald informieren können.
Eine Neuigkeit habe ich noch, schon bald könnt ihr Götti oder Gotti eines unserer Stipendienkinder werden. :) Habt ihr Interesse? Mit einem Beitrag von monatlich CHF 45.-, könnt ihr die Patenschaft für eines der Kinder übernehmen und dafür sorgen, dass seine schulische Karriere weitergehen kann. It's time to go home. Although Nepal has already become home for me. But home is also where your family is. So it's time to say "ciao". I have enjoyed my time here very much. Certainly also for
this reason, because I was not here for two long years. Then you enjoy the time even more, don't you? In the one month I've been here, I've really been able to do a lot. And the most important
thing of all I was able to visit our village Chheskam. I was so amazed how everything has changed positively in the two years. I almost didn't recognise the school. I am very proud of what we
have achieved so far. Of course, also thanks to you dear supporters. I have grown very fond of the people over the years. As different as our lives are, we are still so close to each other. I am
already looking forward to the next visit. Of course, I hope it won't take two years again.....
Unfortunately, I haven't received the engineers' final report yet. It will take a little longer than expected. The report is one thing, finding sponsors is another.
In the few days I have been in Kathmandu, I have been able to do a lot of things. We are in the process of getting a new rickshaw for Samu. His current one is really getting on in years. I took
him for a ride today. I'm really not heavy, but he had a hard time riding the old bike. I hope we find the right one for him soon. I will keep you posted. Pasang has made some contacts and will
be able to inform me soon.
