Jeder Mensch sollte Zugang zu sauberem Trinkwasser haben. Genau das möchten wir in Chheskam erreichen. Zur jetzigen Zeit haben sie zwar Wasser, doch dieses ist verunreinigt. Alle Leitungen verlaufen oberirdisch, diese möchten wir gerne unterirdisch verlegen. Die neue gefundene Quelle oberhalb des Dorfes ist perfekt für die neue Wasserversorgung. Wir benötigen für die Realisierung dieses Projektes insgesamt CHF 90'000! Bitte helfen Sie uns mit, dass in Chheskam bald sauberes Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn kommt.
Corona-Situation in Nepal:
Die Infektionszahlen waren lange auf einem tiefen Niveau. Im Januar 2022 hat Omikron Nepal erreicht und die Zahlen sind am Ansteigen. Verglichen mit der Schweiz liegen diese auf einem tiefen Niveau. Stand 11.2.2022: Nepal 109 gegenüber Schweiz 4839 (Neuinfektionen 7-Tage-Durchschnitt pro 1 Mio. Einwohner). Um die Zahlen möglichst tief zu halten, sind in Kathmandu ein Teil der Schulen geschlossen, ebenso die Kinos und Indoor–Sportanlagen. Hotels und Restaurants bleiben aber offen.

Everyone should have access to clean drinking water. This is exactly what we want to achieve in Chheskam. At present, they have water, but it is contaminated. All pipes run above ground, we would like to lay them underground. The new spring found above the village is perfect for the new water supply. We need a total of CHF 90'000 for the realization of this project! Please help us so that soon clean water will come out of the tap in Chheskam.
Corona situation in Nepal:
The infection numbers were at a low level for a long time. In January 2022 Omikron reached Nepal and the numbers are increasing. Compared to Switzerland, these are at a low level. As of Feb. 11, 2022: Nepal 109 vs. Switzerland 4839 (new infections 7-day average per 1 million population). To keep the numbers as low as possible, some of the schools in Kathmandu are closed, as are the cinemas and indoor sports facilities. Hotels and restaurants, however, remain open.
